APLUS+ is the first and continues to be the only membership association and nationwide movement dedicated to advancing the Personalized Learning model for students and supporting schools whose mission and vision is to provide a more personalized education for its enrolled students. Founded by Jeff Rice and currently in its 19th year of operation, APLUS+ supports approximately 85 Personalized Learning public charter schools throughout California, collectively enrolling more than 75,000 K-12 students. Since its inception, APLUS+ has been a leading voice to raise awareness and understanding of the critical need for parent and student choice in public education, and specifically for a personalized learning option in education for the growing number of students for whom a rigid, classroom-only model is not a good match for success.
