Thousand Oaks, CA –  Compass Charter Schools (CCS) announced that Isabella Leon, an elementary school scholar from Murrieta, released her debut music single, Dance With Me, on iTunes and Spotify at the end of February.

“It took a lot of hard work to create and release my original song,” said Isabella. “I spent a lot of time writing the song and recording in the studio with my amazing team. If it wasn’t for Compass Charter Schools, I would never be able to pursue my dream of becoming a successful music artist. My mom always says “It takes a village” and Compass Charter Schools is a big part of my village.”

Isabella has been creating music since she was in preschool.  Her debut single Dance With Me is about girl power and being independent. Isabella wrote this song after being inspired by all of the powerful and inspirational women in her life. In the future, she hopes to use her success in the music industry to inspire other children to accomplish their goals and dreams through hard work and a lot of practice.

“Congratulations to Isabella for releasing her new music single Dance With Me on iTunes and Spotify,” said Crystal Villegas, CCS elementary school teacher. “Isabella is a focused and determined scholar who has worked very hard to stay on track with her academics while creating her music and pursuing her dream of becoming a successful singer. I am so happy to see Isabella achieve her goal of becoming a published music artist and I am grateful to be part of her journey. Congratulations, Isabella!”

Isabella is one of several scholars at CCS who is successfully pursuing a career in the entertainment industry while continuing to succeed academically. CCS is a virtual independent study charter school serving grades TK-12. CCS is dedicated to offering scholars like Isabella access to quality online and homeschool educational programs to meet their unique needs. “Congratulations to Isabella for releasing her first single on iTunes and Spotify,” said J.J. Lewis, CCS President & CEO. “I am so proud that CCS has been able to help Isabella succeed academically and achieve her dream of becoming a singer. I know I am speaking for our entire Compass family when I share that we are so proud of Isabella’s hard work, and wish her continued success in her music career!”
