Monday Morning Update (MMU) - Compass Charter Schools - October 12, 2026

Posted Date: 10/12/26 (08:30 AM)

MESSAGE FROM SUPERINTENDENT & CEO LIZ BRENNER:

Dear Compass families,

Our work reviewing our Framework for the Future has begun. If you would like to learn more about the framework and this project, please watch this short video. We want to begin with the end in mind, so we are starting our review with a focus on our scholar competencies. In 2022, Compass defined our Scholar Profile. Over the past four years, a lot has changed and it’s time to reflect on how we have grown and to evaluate if the competencies we defined then are still true today. On Friday, October 9th, we had an all staff in-service day where we reviewed the competencies and staff provided feedback. Now it’s your turn. We will be discussing this at our Scholar Leadership and Parent Advisory meetings and we want all scholars and Learning Coaches to have an opportunity to contribute. Please answer this survey to have your voice be included in this important work.

Kind regards,

Liz Brenner

Superintendent and CEO
